Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter, when she was a character in the series One Tree Hill. She was Alex for the duration of three of the season's final seasons. The first three albums she released as a country artist included in episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Kramer was in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. In 2009, she played the role of Alex Dupre. Her appearance on the show until 2012 when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern country love song I Won't Give Up. The track was later featured on Jana Kramer's debut full-length in the mid-2012 timeframe. Kramer appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. The album was released in October 2015. Kramer released Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) as well as Steven Tyler's duet with Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to achieve even greater success, reaching the number three position at the top of the Billboard 200. In September the singer was a part of two weeks on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. In the same year, she had a hit adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
