Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's cuisine is a means to get inside her world. She developed a curiousity about food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse culture in Los Angeles. She believes in the idea that cavatelli and carnitas can co-exist seamlessly on the same menu conveys a sensibility which is constantly evolving. What remains is her singular vision of the future while longingly recalling the old. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso founded in 2013, received a great reception because it was inspired by her Italian heritage. The old-fashioned Italian interpretation is considered one among Los Angeles' most captivating restaurants. Lofaso consistently serves excellent dishes at Scopa it is a local favorite. Customers describe it as authentic and satisfying. Lofaso was an apprentice to culinary masters learning their methods and taking chances. She never hesitated in doing so, merely following her own intuition. After a brief period, Lofaso rose to the very top of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Then she collaborated alongside many celebrities, as she transformed various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso collaborated along with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, the first bar to open in Studio City. Lofaso has found her home in Black Market, and through her partnerships she has created. Lofaso had the chance to enjoy the creativity she had always longed for. Black Market doesn't have one particular orientation. This is the intention. It would start with dill-flavored potato chips Shishito peppers and finish with Korean Wings. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the base of these bold flavors. Lofaso evaluates her achievements throughout her career by her ability to understand her audience and stay loyal to her character. She has been a part of numerous television shows such as Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars as well as Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents continue to be recognized as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso worked with Penguin to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 recipes for Quick Delicious home-cooked Meals in 2012. This cookbook also tells about the struggles she faced while raising Xea and studying at the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso says that her passion for cooking is the driving force behind her achievements. She continues to be in the know through keeping a keen to the latest trends and fashions. She has revolutionized the industry's design by creating chef's wear to be functional and stylish, through her brand Chefletics. Her main focus is to remain in line with her mission. To achieve this goal, she launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. This will provide clients with an incredibly personal experience.
